Kanji Playoff Pool 13.0

It's that time of year...

After the roaring success of the Olympic Pool, the Kanji Family now bring you the world's easiest playoff pool! We at the Kanji Playoff Pool Control Centre have been taking in your feedback and suggestions for the past 13 years and now we're doing something about it!

This year the playoff pool becomes even easier!

Details:
1) All 16 playoff teams have been placed in four groupings
2) Pick the ONE team in each of the four groups that will go the furthest AND score the most goals AND have the most shutouts.

Scoring:
a) You will earn 1 point for every goal your selected teams score
b) You will earn 3 points for every game your selected teams win by a shutout (ie allowing 0 goals)
c) You will earn 25 points for predicting the correct team to win the Stanley Cup!

The next honourary Kanji is...

Hey KKParticipants! You all have been wonderful again this year! Thanks for your feedback throughout the 2009 Stanley Cup finals.

In summary:

1) You asked for more frequent updates, and we'll deliver that again next year.

b) You suggested that we get some sort of prize/money for the winner, well this won't happen, however if your name is in the Champion's League don't be afraid to ask your friendly neighbourhood Kanji for some mad props.

iii) You asked for more cowbell, you got it! (see previous post)

four) 19 of you said not to change anything because it's perfect! Well, we Kanjis don't take that type of critisism lying down, so tune in again next March/April to see the host of improvements coming your way!

Cinq) we got 6 of these things -> :) Thanks - it really does brighten up a Kanji day!

Sept) The time to start watching the NHL again and get ready for the Baker's Dozen Version of the Kanji Playoff Pool! (PS - If any of you have an affiliation with Baker's Dozen please let us know - it would be sweet to offer a box of donuts to next year's winner!)

Finally) Next summer we'll be running the inaugural Quatro-Annual Kanji World Cup Pool. Stay tuned for details...

Ok, now check your points below, and thanks again for making this a success!
